I hope they continue on, holding to the death metal vocals, but expanding on this super creative sound! The absolute surprise of the album is the Lemmy/Motorhead vibe in Dark Horizons. Well, having this come in the mail yesterday I'm thrilled by this release! It's incredibly unique, powerful, catchy, diverse with absolutely outstanding production! I'm frankly amazed at what I'm hearing on this! It's so different from anything I've ever heard coming out of the doom/death genre and I'm thankful for that. By the time "The Furnace Is Burning Hot" had been posted I was off to place my order. Yet, I was intrigued and captivated by it anyway. The songs had an almost rock sound to them, even post rock in its atmosphere. The death growls over the new style seemed to clash. It certainly wasn't traditional doom death like the debut. When Kerrick posted the clips above at first I was a bit unsure. I enjoyed their debut album but it only had sparks of brilliance. I've gotta say this is one of the most interesting and exciting turns of sound I've heard on any album ever!
